Feeding Guidelines

These are the recommended feeding amounts based on the ideal body condition for kittens and pregnant/nursing adult cats of various weights. Individual cats’ energy requirements may differ. Adjust the amount fed to obtain or maintain your cat’s optimum weight. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times, provide plenty of exercise and see your veterinarian regularly. Every cup of our food is nutrient dense so your cat gets the right amount of calories in a complete and nutritious meal. To help maintain freshness, seal bag tightly and store in a cool, dry location.
Kittens: Serve dry or slightly moistened in multiple meals throughout the day.
Pregnancy/Lactation: During pregnancy, offer 50% more and during lactation offer at least two to three times more than the amount shown for kittens 40 to 52 weeks of age.

Nutro indoor chicken rice
| everyone I have for deca

I have fed all my cats and dog Nutro for at least 20 - 25 years. What happened to the 16# bag or 25# years ago? I never go to the vet because they are healthy.

Kitten is OBSESSED.

I originally had a different kitten food, very similar quality and ingredients, but I accidentally forgot to bring the bag with me when my kitten Layla and I went on vacation. There were no pet stores within a decent driving distance, so I ended up going to Kroger not that concerned since it would only be a few days without her regular food. I chose this based on the ingredients, and MY CAT WILL NOT EAT ANYTHING ELSE NOW. So once I got home I tried to feed her her regular food, that she had been happily eating for months, and she REFUSED. She will now only eat this food. I then did a lot of research on it, as I had done for the other one, and thankfully it is a very high quality, so that's all I buy now! The ingredients in this compared to the other were very similar, so I think it's the shape/texture that made her like it much more. They are tiny little round pieces instead of the 3 legged X type shape. I am unsure but regardless my kitten LOVES this food, and I am going to continue her on it and switch to the same brand adult when she is older.
