To join, complete our program enrollment form for dog breeders or for cat breeders.

Please note that to qualify for our program, you’ll need to upload a copy of an official document that identifies you as a breeder or handler. The document should be from a nationally recognized pet registry or association (e.g., AKC, ACA, ARBA, etc.).

Handlers are accepted as members of The Nutro Company Breeder Partner Program. In order to qualify, you’ll need to provide The Nutro Company a copy of an official document that identifies you as a member of the Professional Handlers Association. Enroll in our dog program or enroll in our cat program, and upload a copy of your official document.

To qualify for The Nutro Company Breeder Partner Program, during enrollment, you’ll need to upload a copy of an official document that identifies you as a breeder or handler. The document should be from a nationally recognized pet registry or association (e.g., AKC, TICA, CFA, ACFA, ACA, ARBA, etc.).

Sorry, you must be registered with a national registry or association in order to qualify for The Nutro Company Breeder Partner Program.

After we receive your original receipts and UPC codes with product description labels, allow 4 to 6 weeks for your free-food voucher delivery.

For questions that are not directly related to The Nutro Company Breeder Partner Program, such as questions about MAX™ Dog Food, MAX™ CAT Food, NUTRO™ Dog Food, NUTRO™ Cat Food or ULTRA™ Food for Dogs, please call our Consumer Care Team at (800) 833-5330, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST.

In addition to feeding your dogs or cats high-quality natural pet food, program members can participate in an exclusive “buy 6 bags, get 1 free*” offer. For more details, visit our Dog Breeders page or Cat Breeders page.

* Free bag voucher will correspond with the same brand and with the smallest size purchased. There is no limit to the number of times this offer can be redeemed. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for the delivery of the product voucher. Trial size and treats (individual or cases) are not included.

The Nutro Company Breeder Partner Program gives an exclusive “buy 6 bags, get 1 free” offer for our members. This applies to any bag of MAX™, NUTRO™, ULTRA™, ROTATIONS™ or FARM'S HARVEST™ Brand Product. To receive one (1) voucher for a free bag of pet food, mail your 6 UPC codes with product description labels and your original receipts to:

In order to prevent delays or problems with processing your free pet-food voucher, please keep the following policies in mind:

  1. The voucher for your free bag will correspond to the smallest size you purchased. Trial sizes are not included in the program.
  2. Mail six (6) proof-of-purchase UPC codes with product descriptions and corresponding original receipts in one envelope, or make sure that the number of UPC codes with product descriptions you mail to The Nutro Company are in multiples of six (6); that is, groups of 6, 12, 18, 24, etc.
  3. If sending more than six at a time, group the UPC codes with product descriptions together so that they are with the same brand (MAX™, NUTRO™, ULTRA™ , ROTATIONS™ OR FARM'S HARVEST™ Brands), same product (such as MAX™ Puppy Food or MAX™ CAT Kitten Food) and same size.
  4. Original receipts must be dated within a 12-month period. Only original receipts are accepted.

Scenario 1: You send UPC codes and receipts for the following:
1 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
2 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
3 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
4 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
5 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
6 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula

In this example, you will receive a voucher for a free 30-lb. bag of NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula with no problems or delays.

Scenario 2: You send UPC codes and receipts for the following:
1 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
2 5-lb. NUTRO™ WHOLESOME ESSENTIALS™ Puppy Formula
3 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
4 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
5 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
6 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula

In this example, you will receive a voucher for a free 5-lb. bag of NUTRO™ Puppy Food. This is because the voucher we send corresponds to the smallest bag you purchased. To avoid this, do not mix UPC codes of various sized bags.

Scenario 3: You send UPC codes and receipts for the following:
1 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
2 30-lb. NUTRO™ WHOLESOME ESSENTIALS™ Senior Formula
3 30-lb. MAX™ Adult Mini Chunk Recipe
4 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
5 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
6 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula

In this example, your voucher processing will be delayed. To avoid this, do not mix UPC codes of different brands or different products within the same brand.

Scenario 4: You send UPC codes and receipts for the following:
1 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
2 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
3 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
4 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
5 30-lb. NUTRO™ Lamb & Whole Brown Rice Formula
6 Missing UPC Code

In this example, your voucher will not be processed. This is because you only sent 5 UPC codes. To avoid this, ensure the number of UPC codes you send totals six (6) or multiples of 6, such as 12, 18, 24, etc.
