It’s rare that you meet a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that doesn’t have a happily wagging tail. With large, round eyes and a sweet disposition, it’s no wonder a King Charles Spaniel is so easy to love. In fact, they love to shadow their owners and keep them company at all times.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels don’t like to be left alone (especially in the backyard) for long periods of time. He prefers to hang out with family members so he can be a part of the action. These intelligent dogs are easily trained through positive reinforcement – but don’t overfeed with treats because they can easily put on some pounds.
