Rated 5 out of 5 by Skin issues resolved We have always fed our dogs Nutro brand food until about a year or so ago when we switched to another brand premium food. We did this basically due to availability and somewhat due to convenience. All the time we have stayed in Florida our dogs have experienced off and on dry skin and resulting itchiness. The veterinarian's advised shots of one kind or another which were only temporarily effective. After fighting it for the last three months I researched and read about the possibility of the issue being food related. We have now switched back to Nutro Limited Ingredient and literally within one day we started seeing less itching. Now, at two days and their itching mostly gone. February 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yorkie loves it! I have a Yorkie with a very sensitive stomach. We have searched for years for the right food and have finally found it!! Although, the food is recommended for dogs 15+ lbs, he loves it! December 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great food this is my Catahoula Leopard dog's favorite food! Was recommended to us my our veterinarian & it is a great fit for her! August 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by We will buy no other food! When we first adopted our dog he was overweight, basically hairless, had skin issues, and all other foods gave him diarrhea. We tried several foods before this one and none got rid of his "runs". He loved this food, it was the only food he would eat besides his raw diet that was making him fat from the rescue. He loves his food, and so do all his doggie friends that come over. He constantly gets compliments on how healthy his coat is, his dandruff is gone, and his hair is even thick all over now! We only feed him nutro sensitive skin and stomach. August 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Miracle food! One of my rat Terriers has sensitive skin as well as a sensitive stomach. I tried many grain free and limited ingredients dog foods but nothing seemed to help clear his skin up. This product took away his skin issues right away, I'm so pleased! July 3, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Was great until they changed the formula Was feeding my husky lab and my blue heeler this for a couple years and both of them loved it. My blue heeler is a very picky easter and was happy after a very long expensive search trying to find a dog food they both liked while also helping my husky skin issues.. Until they changed the formula. . Now my heeler won't even touch it unless I put something else like gravy in it. Which I prefer not to do but she is getting skinny. Way to mess up a good product. Thanks the search starts again i guess June 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Was great until changed formulation Our choc lab has suffered from stomach and skin issues since a puppy. We tried different foods mostly to address the stomach issues and found she tolerated the original sensitive stomach chicken and oatmeal very well. By pure luck, her skin issues, that had caused her to suffer terribly, completely disappeared. And she loved it. We continued for several years to buy it til one day we opened a new bag and her skin conditions returned with vengence. Frustrated by manufacterers that always have to "improve" their products, we went on the search again for a new brand. After trying several other products, we determined that she was troubled by chicken. We came back to the Nutro brand and tried the previous version of the Venison food and, yea!, the skin allergy symptoms disappeared, and her stomach was still in good shape. We had been on that food for about a year and then, one day, opened a new bag and now we have the skin issues again. After reading comments here, I realize that there have been changes to the formulation. I just wonder why manufacterers have to keeping tweaking their products despite the fact that they have thousands of positive reviews. I guess we will be on the hunt again. Sigh :( May 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dogs are finally doing/feeling great! The product its self is wonderful. We have a Staffie that has bad stomach problems and it has taken us a while to find something she can handle! She is feeling good and her skin and coat looks great! We have switched our other Staffie to it, he is doing great as well! The only issue we have is that you keep changing the packaging. Makes it pretty difficult when trying to just run in and grab a bag of food and you find that it has been changed, again. You have a great product, stop messing with the bags, we don't care what's on the outside but we do want to be able to find it quickly and easily without fuss! May 22, 2015
