Rated 5 out of 5 by LITERALLY - a LIFE SAVER By Christmas time, I was sure she wasn't going to make it. She was vomiting every time she ate and if I described her stools, it would gross you out. I was keeping her alive on pumpkin (from the baking aisle) but I was concerned about her protein and vitamin intake when I found this product. Immediately the vomiting stopped, stools started to improve (now firm and no longer bloody). It has been almost 6 months and the transformation is nothing short of a miracle. She is extremely happy and active again. I say "Don't mess with what works!". A big thank you to the makers of Nutro for this Fish & Sweet Potato formula. June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only food my dog can eat I have a pug with food allergies and a sensitive stomach. After trying several different types of food, this is the only one she can eat. She was finally able to gain weight and her skin condition improved so much. She is a happy girl! And she just LOVES this food. Petsmart seems to be the only place I can find the canned food. Please don't ever stop making this formula. September 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product My dog loves this food above all the other flavors. Although it is smelly, she gets very excited as soon as I open the can. My only complaint is that it is not always available. I usually shop at Petsmart, and the local one does not seem to carry this flavor anymore. September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent product but hard to find and stinky This is the best product for my dog. She really improved, but it's very hard to find. The problem is not just the food is stinky, but the dog reeks of fish. The groomers hold their noses when she comes. The area around the dog at home also smells fishy. Everyone notices it, even when the dog is in another room, as the odor lingers. Not sure what to do. I think the product is excellent, when I can find it. It's a dilemma! October 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product but hard to find My GSD is allergic to everything but this food. We love it. My only complaint is that it is really difficult to find. Many of the local outlets that sell the other varieties of this food do not sell this one. September 19, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stinky but good My dog has been on this for 3 months now, she loves it and I noticed an improvement in her overall coat. The condition of her stool has improved as well. It is a stinky product though, I wish it would come with mints becasue I dont want to be near my dog after she's eaten it. But it does what its supposed to do. August 6, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Smelly, but good.. When the store I go to was out of the canned chicken and oatmeal Nutro dog food (for sensitive stomachs), I tried this one. My dog liked it, but after using it for a few times I had to throw it out. The smell of the food was disgusting! So, I think it's a good product but I wouldn't buy it again. February 19, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Want to create a picky eater? This product smells bad and my dog will not eat it (but he will eat anything and everything else offered to him). I tried to purchase this product two different times - both times produced the same result - a newly created picky eater. It really stunk (literally) getting stuck with a couple of cans of this product. What can I do with it? Donate it to a shelter? Why should homeless dogs be exposed to this stinky product?
