I have been buying this Adult Salmon Flavor for my three cats for years. All of a sudden I realize none of them are eating. I look over the 16 lb. bag thinking maybe I bought the wrong bag of food. No I did not - but there is a label on it saying "improved taste - new look". Beware - my cats would rather go hungry than eat this

My multi-cat household has been consuming for eight years. I started using it because it reduced the amount of cat waste since it doesn't have the corn fillers of so many other products also my cats love it. Last year we adopted a 5 lb abused cat that looked like a 4 month old kitten with straw for fur although he was 2 1/2 years old. After three months of love and Max Cat food he has a satin coat; the vet that we adopted him from was so surprised she even asked what we have been feeding him. Thank you for such a great product.

I was looking for dry food for my cat who has skin allergies and wanted to try something more affordable than Science Diet because we are in a multiple cat household. This product sounded worth a try. Now my cats LOVE it but they really have trouble eating the large bites. One cat, specifically, is missing some teeth and really has trouble. I'll have to return it, but would you consider making smaller sized kibble bits for cats?

I have been feeding my Multiple cat household the Maxcat brand for a few years now. When I fed them the Salmon Flavour they would act like they were starving they loved the flavour so much. I had to switch back to the Chicken Flavour so a couple of the cats would stop eating so much. They love the chicken Flavour but it was almost like a frenzy when the new scoop of Salmon flavour was put in the bowl.
Great food for Finicky eaters or skinny cats you want to fatten up a bit.

Oscar was a skinny outdoor American short haired cat. He adopted me in 1995 and my vet said he was about 5 years old. I started looking for the best food to feed him reading packages of food at my local pet store. The store's owner gave me a bag of Max Cat, well Oscar gave me rave reviews about the food and well, we never looked back. While on Max Cat Salmon flavored kibble Oscar put on some weight, so I switched him back and forth to the Max Cat weight management food.
Sadly, Oscar passed away in 2007, but the vet said that for an outdoor cat he lived a full and happy life. Personally, I never had a cat live so long.
Just recently I've adopted a middle aged Cocker Spaniel and now I'm investigating some Nutro kibble for dogs. Fred is a very finicky eater, but he is a good watch dog. I know if I can find a flavor of Nutro that he likes he will also have a long and happy life.
