Why have I been having trouble finding my favorite variety of NUTRO® brand dog or cat food?
During the last year, we did experience some difficulty in obtaining key ingredients for our foods. To maintain our strict quality and safety standards, we made the difficult decision to reduce production. These shortages were operational in nature and not in any way related to quality. These issues have largely been resolved and we have secured additional supply sources of most raw materials. You should see restored inventory at your local retailer very soon, if not already!

No, there are no recalls of any NUTRO® products in effect. All NUTRO® products are safe, and meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

NO. This false claim was made by an uncredentialed website, and has been refuted by the FDA (http://www.fda.gov/cvm/CVM_Updates/NutroProducts.htm) and debunked in the mainstream media (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vB02ALa4xU).

The Nutro Company is committed to providing the highest quality natural petfood products in the marketplace. “No compromise on quality” is part of our fundamental Natural Nutrition Philosophy.

While there is no indication of a safety issue with any of these products, they do not reflect the high quality standards consumers have come to expect from the NATURAL CHOICE® line.
